USA 2-0 Bosnia: the USMNT reaches the Round of 16 with a 10-man win, but loses Balogun to a red card

The United States is into the World Cup Round of 16, its first knockout win since 2002, after beating Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 at Levi's Stadium. Folarin Balogun turned in a deflected Malik Tillman through ball just before halftime for his third goal of the tournament, then was sent off in the 64th minute for a challenge on Tarik Muharemovic; the 10-man US saw it out and Tillman sealed it with a superb free kick in the 81st. Our card cashed cleanly: the best bet (a low-scoring US win to nil) hit, the Balogun anytime-scorer lean landed, and our 2-0 prediction was exact, while the upset angle we had flagged as the only value (the draw or Bosnia to advance) never came. The catch: Balogun's red card carries a suspension, so the USMNT loses its in-form striker for the Round of 16.
