NBA Finals Game 4: Knicks erase 29 down for the largest comeback in Finals history, win 107-106 and take a 3-1 lead

New York Knicks 107, San Antonio Spurs 106 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden Wednesday, the largest comeback in NBA Finals history. San Antonio led by 29 and set a Finals record with 14 first-half threes, but scored just 30 points after halftime (3-of-17 from deep) as the Knicks outscored them 58-30 in the second half. OG Anunoby won it on a tip-in with 1.2 seconds left and finished with a playoff career-high 33; Jalen Brunson broke out of a shooting slump with 36 points and 7 assists. Victor Wembanyama had 24 and 13, Dylan Harper 21, with De'Aaron Fox and Devin Vassell adding 18 apiece. New York leads 3-1 and can clinch its first championship since 1973 in Game 5 on Saturday in San Antonio; only Cleveland in 2016 has ever come back from 3-1 in the Finals. Our pre-game reads were sharp: Spurs +2.5 cashed (they lost by one), the under 216.5 hit (213 total), and our 108-106 prediction missed the actual 107-106 by a single point; the Wembanyama over (24) was the miss. NHL: the Stanley Cup Final is tied 2-2 with Game 5 in Raleigh tonight, and the World Cup opens tonight in Mexico City.
